The area
Many cycling and walking routes run alongside the B&B (Hanzestedenpad, Marskramerpad, LF 3 Hanzestedenroute and LF 19 Deventer – Holten).
The bicycle junction no. 14 is less than 200 meters from our B&B.
We are a nice base for many cycling and walking tours in the beautiful Salland or as a place to stay for a multi-day cycling or walking tour.
Of course there is also a lot to see and do in the area. Think of museums, cinema, sauna, shopping.

Activities calendar Deventer
There is a lot to do in the Deventer area. For example, Deventer annually organizes events such as the Book Market, Poetry Festival , Deventer op Stelten and the well-known Dickens Festival. Look here for the activities calendar of Deventer.
Places of interest
Deventer is a city with many places of interest. On the side of the Worp you can enjoy a lot of nature, such as the Ossewaarden, the Worp park, the IJssel with its many beaches and the Bolwerkersmolen. With the ferry you will be in the center of Deventer in no time. Cycling over the Wilhelmina Bridge or the Railway Bridge is of course also possible. There is much to see at the cityside to: The Lebuines church and its tower (you can also climb it), the Bergkwartier, the Toy Museum, the Waag museum, and much more.
Walking and cycling
It is wonderful to cycle in the area. Various cycling routes are available in the room and a map of the area to make your own route. You can also make beautiful trips to the Hanseatic city of Zutphen, Zwolle, Hattem. But the National parks : De Hoge Veluwe and Holterberg are also easily accessible.

Sauna
For enthusiasts, we have a private sauna. It is accessible via your private terrace.
Large saunas nearby: Sauna Bussloo (10 km) and Sauna De Veluwse Bron (16 km) in Emst (Epe). For lovers of a smaller sauna, we also have Sauna & Bodycare Apeldoorn (15 km).
Swimming
We have three swimming pools in the area. De Schaeck in Twello (5 km.), De Scheg (6km) in Colmschate and the Borgelerbad (6 km) in Deventer. In the summer you can enjoy swimming at the recreational lake Bussloo (8 km).
Skating.
In winter you can skate at De Scheg (6km) in Colmschate. Here is an indoor artificial ice rink. The artificial ice rink is open every year from October to March. The accommodation includes a 400-meter track and an ice square.
